SMS Terms & Conditions
These SMS Terms & Conditions govern the text messaging program operated by the Energy Freedom Alliance of the Rockies ("EFAR," "we," "us," or "our"), a Colorado 501(c)(4) social welfare organization.
1. Program description
The EFAR text messaging program sends recurring automated political text messages about Colorado energy policy, Initiative 177, advocacy opportunities, volunteer actions, events, and fundraising appeals.
2. Consent
By providing your mobile number and checking the consent box on our sign-up form, you provide your express written consent to receive recurring automated political text messages from EFAR at the number you provided, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system.
You represent that you are at least 18 years old and that the mobile number you provide is your own, or that you are authorized to consent on behalf of the subscriber.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies. You may receive messages more frequently during periods of heightened advocacy or near an election.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. EFAR does not charge for the messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you according to your plan. Contact your carrier for details.
5. How to get help
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or email info@efarockies.org.
6. How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. After you send STOP, we will send you one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will receive no further messages unless you opt in again.
You may also opt out by emailing info@efarockies.org with the mobile number to be removed.
7. Supported carriers
Our program is supported by major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Not all carriers or handsets may be supported.
8. Privacy
Information you provide, including your mobile number, is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. We share it only with the messaging vendor that delivers messages on our behalf.
9. Changes to the program
We may modify or discontinue the program, or these SMS Terms, at any time. Changes take effect when posted here.
